Snowdrift (2013)

Snowdrift is a fast paced arena shooter in which each player controls an armed drone. With a collection of different weapons the player has to compete against his enemies.
In order to get new weapons the player has to capture weapon pads and defend them afterwards. From time to time the player can activate an X-Ray Mode in which he can see enemies through obstacles. In this mode, each weapon has a unique feature. The following weapons are available:

• Rifle: This is the default weapon which shoots directly at the enemy without any visible projectile.
• Gatling: This is a fast firing weapon with fast projectiles. The projectiles can shoot through obstacles when X-Ray Mode is activated.
• Rocket Launcher: This weapon fires projectiles which explode, when they hit something. During X-Ray Mode the projectiles become homing missiles lerping to the enemies position.

The game contains more features like health pads, deactivating enemies' pads, physically influenced gameplay with weapon recoil forces and more. To have an impression of the game watch the video on the right.

The game was made with Unity3D.

Files

• Game for Windows (Networking via Quick Game is not stable and only works if connected to the internet. Networking via Arranged Team is not implemented yet. You can still chose Local Game to play if you are on a local network.)
